Move for Life Physical Therapy is currently seeking an exceptional Physical Therapist to join our MD team.

Move for Life Physical Therapy is a privately owned and operated rehabilitation practice comprised of highly skilled physical, occupational and speech therapists that provide unparalleled rehabilitative services to patients residing in assisted/independent living communities in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.

Responsibilities include:

• Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs
• Offer effective treatments that help improve clients’ motion and mobility
• Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
• Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients’ specific needs
• Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
• Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
• Promote clients’ healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
• Consult with other healthcare professionals
• Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress
• Document patient care services

Requirements:

• Valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of MD
• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program
• Proven working experience as a licensed physical therapist
• Must demonstrate professional demeanor, work independently, and manage time efficiently
• Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
• Extensive education and clinical expertise
• Knowledge of current treatment practices
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
