What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician- 2nd Shift position at Mountville Mills, Inc?
Must be able to work independently as necessary
- This position may involve travel to Mountville branch locations.
- Install, troubleshoot and repair equipment (including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic and hydraulic systems) such as mills, industrial carpet printers, HVAC, pumps, motors, etc.
- Perform preventative maintenance on facilities and equipment
- Follow all safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out procedures when necessary
- Devise, fabricate and assemble new or modified mechanical components for industrial machinery or equipment and measuring instruments
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, and material handling equipment in performing duties
- Initiate corrective and preventative action within the scope of your responsibility
- Use CMMS system to track and gather information on maintenance activities.
