What are the responsibilities and job description for the Waste Water Operator Master position at Mountaire Jobs?
A Master Wastewater Operator will understand all wastewater operations and have the ability to make decisions and alter programs (Computer systems). A Master Operator possesses a Level IV license; and can manage wastewater operations in a large biological plant and has Direct Responsible Discharge Authority.
Duties/Activities Required by Job
- Initiates and controls the overall environmental compliance program for water treatment system. This includes oversight of all required monitoring and reporting sample results required by federal, state and local regulations
- Adhere to all safety requirements, including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions. Lock out Tag out procedures and Process Safety Management related matters
- Compliance Recordkeeping, oversight of all required monitoring and reporting of sample results( lab work) required for federal, state and local regulations.
- Perform process control lab work
- Maintenance of wastewater equipment
Educations/Experience Requirements
- BS in Science/Engineering or equivalent credit hours in any other curriculum approved by the Board,
- 4 years of acceptable Operating Experience in Wastewater Facilities Class II or higher; two years of which must have been in a position of Direct Responsible Discharge
- WW IV license to run the plant.
