Provide technical support, set-up and implementation for all Plant Systems
Duties/Activities Required by Job:
- Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems
- Oversee the daily performance of computer systems
- Set up equipment for employee use, performing or insuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
- Develop training materials and procedures or train users in the proper use of hardware or software.
- Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.
Educations/Experience Requirements:
- Related On-the-Job Training/Vocational School or associate's degree
- 1-2 Yrs of direct experience preferred
- Good Organizational and communication skills. Ability to coordinate, train, manage others to accomplish goals
- Must have a valid NC driver's license
- Must be willing to work additional hours other than the core hours of 8AM - 5PM as needed
Physical requirements:
- Perform General Physical Activities requiring considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
- Able and willing to lift between 40 - 60lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in extreme cold/hot environments.
- Able to perform strenuous work in wet/damp environments.
- This position performs duties as assigned, leaving work area clean and organized.
