What are the responsibilities and job description for the Feedmill Driver position at Mountaire Jobs?
Primary Purpose
Duties include operating a tractor trailer traveling to poultry farms to deliver bulk feed which includes loading and unloading the truck. Other responsibilities include routine maintenance checks and being comfortable driving and working in all weather conditions. Report, clean up and properly dispose of feed spills and petroleum spills.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Driving to designated poultry farms.
- Unloading the truck.
- Loading the truck.
- Conduct daily pre and post-trip inspections of vehicles per DOT regulations.
- Report to Shipping for equipment maintenance.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of CDL Class A driving experience or completion of a six-week training course from a certified/accredited school.
- Must possess a valid CDL Class A license.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
- Must be able to meet all DOT requirements.
