Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

  • Greet patients and handle checking-in/checking-out
  • Experience in answering multiple phone lines
  • Appointment confirmations
  • Getting patients charts ready for next scheduled day
  • Organizing patients charts
  • Appointment scheduling & ability to keep the schedule full
  • Posting patient & insurance payments, handling insurance filing
  • Monthly account billing
  • Oversee the appearance of the reception and front desk work area
Desired Skills:

  • A MINIMUM of 1 years’ dental office experience
  • Professional in demeanor and excellent telephone etiquette
  • Knowledge of Dental practices and procedures
  • Computer skills a must
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Experienced in dental insurance and dental codes
  • Friendly personality
  • Clean appearance and positive attitude
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to multitask and pay attention to details is a must
  • Knowledge of Softdent dental program preferred but not necessary
  • Be a TEAM player
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience with Dental office
  • Experience with PMS, ADA codes, Dental claims, Verification of insurance.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
