Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse as a Medical Imaging Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this role you will provide the best possible preventative and supportive intra-operative care to each patient based upon their individual needs and are looking for a team member who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. • You will ensure compliance of the Radiation Right policies
• You will perform invasive procedures with the Radiologists and places PICC or Midlines based on patient needs
• You will act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure
• You will provides nurses skills to Medical Imaging Specialists including but not limited to special procedures, biopsies, all invasive procedures , conscious sedation, PICC Line insertions and stress cardiology studies.
• You will maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts
• You will participate in performance improvement activities
• You will act as the patient’s advocate, as circumstances require

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent
• Current license to practice as a registered Nurse in the State of Nevada
• Current BLS required
• ACLS certification required
• Must complete a PICC certification course, if necessary, during 90 day orientation.
• Obtain Activated Coagulation Time(ACT) license within 60 days.
• Minimum 1 year clinical nursing experience.
