What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Care Staff Nights position at Mountaintop Behavior Health?
```Duties```
- Do nightly checks on residents every 30 minutes
Shift is 4 ten hour shifts from 10pm to 8am.
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Implement individualized care plans and ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals to promote their independence and socialization
- Assist with transportation to appointments, community outings, and recreational activities
- Document individual progress and any incidents or changes in behavior
```Requirements```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with individuals, their families, and other staff members
- Ability to handle conflict management situations calmly and professionally
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if required for transportation duties)
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as needed
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond in emergency situations
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques (if applicable)
- Understanding of resident rights and commitment to upholding them
