Maintenance Supervisor

About the Position:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operation of the Maintenance staff to ensure the expected excellent level of service is accomplished reliably. A successful candidate will order parts and supplies for the team as well as organization and scheduling. Additional responsibilities include coordination of and/or responding to facility emergencies as appropriate.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Your Role:
- Organize the Maintenance Department workflow using the ServiceNow work order management platform and as directed by others. Direct Maintenance staff on a daily basis to accomplish the work of the Department.
- Ability to coordinate and assist with scheduled routine maintenance by accessing the maintenance playbook.
- Ability to coordinate and assist with aesthetic upkeep of Mountainside facilities.
- Ability to fix mechanical assets on Campus such as Furnaces, Air conditioners, Kitchen assets, Appliance repair, and any other Mountainside assets.
- Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to discern when trade technicians are required to affect equipment repairs and promptly request that work.
- Ability to conduct performance appraisals for all maintenance staff Semi Annually and Annually via the Mountainside Paylocity system.
- Manage all personnel issues and follow the Mountainside progressive discipline process.
- Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of a job assignment.
- Interpret company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
- Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew.
- Analyze and resolve work problems or assists workers in solving work related problems.
- Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
- Maintain facility records to meet or exceed regulatory compliance.
- Manage department budgets in coordination with the Facilities Manager.
- Comply with all federal, state and accreditation regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years working in facility maintenance.
- Previous management experience
- Computer Skills with Facility Software and Microsoft Applications Word & Excel a plus
Compensation:
The base rate of pay for this position is $62,500.00 - $70,000.00 annually. Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
