Responsibilities:
- Plan and administer treatment to both short term and long-term patients/residents to relieve pain and restore or improve function
- Assure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care
- Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families and caregivers
- Monitor patient response to treatment intervention
- Complete required documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Holds or will hold current Physical Therapist Assistant license and/ or registration in NJ
- Graduate of an accredited university
- Previous experience or education in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
