Responsibilities
The Respiratory Therapist provides patient care to those suffering from acute and chronic respiratory problems. Job duties and responsibilities are related to General Therapy, Critical Care, Education, Infection Control, and other duties as assigned by department leadership.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Graduated from an accredited respiratory care program.
Licensed practitioner by the State of New Jersey.
Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or (STABLE) must be completed within 3 months of hire.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:
1 years’ experience.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or (STABLE).
Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
