Product Specialist

About the Role: The Product Specialist plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between products and customers. The role’s primary objective is to understand the features and benefits of our product portfolio and effectively communicate this knowledge to both internal teams and external clients. The specialist is instrumental in driving product adoption by delivering compelling product demonstrations and supporting the sales team in achieving and exceeding sales goals. This role requires a self-motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. Ultimately, the Product Specialists’ efforts will contribute to the growth and success of our product lines.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure a high level of customer service is always provided
• Build and maintain connections with potential customers or leads to cultivate new business and develop relationships
• Conduct thorough market research; maintain product understanding
• Collaborate and strategize with the sales and operations teams
• Ascertain the type of product or service needed
• Analyze and determine customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products where necessary
• Create new prospects/partnership connections
• Educate through product demonstrations both internally and externally
• Address all questions concerning products
• Collaborate on new market/product growth opportunities 
• Work closely with manufacturers’ representatives
• Perform other various duties, as outlined by supervisor
• Exude, understand, and demonstrate actions according to the Company’s core values. These core values are courage, commitment, collaboration, compassion, ownership, and optimism

Qualifications and Physical Requirements: 

• 2 years college/technical school preferred
• Willingness to participate in pre-employment and random drug screenings 
• 2-3 Years’ related sales experience
• 5-8 Years’ experience in related industry; extensive product knowledge
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable under company policy
