What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Assistant and/or Technician position at Mountaineer Veterinary Clinic?
We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant for front desk and assisting duties, experience is required. Our small size allows us to have a close relationship with our clients. This necessitates every staff member understanding and being able to help in every aspect of the hospital. Veterinary Technicians, that are interested, licensed or not, should apply and will be considered for a position that covers our needs while making use of your education and skills. This means some receptionist duties based on hospital need. Technician pay will be based on experience, additional training and licensure.
Excellent communications skills ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task is required. Must be able to work well with others as a team. Ability to learn new computer skills and use them regularly a must, with the most important computer skill being accurate typing and proper spelling. We are looking to hire a full time person, but depending on your skills and experience, technicians with 5 years experience interested in part time are still encouraged to apply. Pay will be based on experience and raises based on performance, dedication and hard work.
