Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the maintenance team.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Inspect facilities, equipment, and systems to identify and address potential issues.
- Establish and enforce maintenance procedures, protocols, and safety standards.
- Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies.
- Train, mentor, and develop maintenance staff to enhance team performance.
- Oversee contractor performance and maintain vendor relationships.
- Monitor budget compliance and implement cost-control measures.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inspections.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
- Proven leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to operate motor vehicle (valid license required)
- Cell phones are required for on-call maintenance.
· Ability to independently lift/carry supplies or equipment up to 65 lbs
- Proficiency with maintenance management software and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
Preferred Skills
- Experience developing and managing preventative maintenance programs.
- Familiarity with budget management and cost-control practices.
- Ability to foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Experience in HVAC, Electrical, Carpentry, Problem solving and Scheduling with outside vendors
Salary : $30 - $35
