Medical Assistant - Full Time

Currently we are looking to fill the vital role of Medical Assistant.
JOB SUMMARY:
- The Medical Assistant prepares charts and physical facilities for patient visits.
- Assists physician when completing physical examinations.
- Obtains laboratory specimens and prepares them for transport.
- Provides routine medical advice to patients by phone. Establishes helpful and friendly relations with patients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Required: MA Certification/Diploma or 1 year of direct patient care experience & BLS/CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
Experience
Required- Must be able to operate a computer and type accurately, have the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing; and possess human relations skills when working with the public, be emotionally mature, and able to function effectively under stress. Must possess effective organizational skills.
- Must currently hold Medical Assistant Diploma/Certificate. BLS Certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- Experience in a hospital or medical facility and familiar with medical terminology is preferred
Licenses & Certifications
Required- C-ARC-BLS
