Currently we are looking to fill the vital role of Mammography Technologist.
Job Summary:
- Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs Mammography procedures at appropriate technical level
- Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis
- Assumes responsibility for the designated areas and/or procedures as required
- Recognizes the purpose of employment is to prioritize the patient as number one, and to put forth the utmost quality as a Technologist
Qualifications:
- Posses a diploma from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Minimum two years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment
- Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards when no directions are given
- Must be emotionally mature and able to function under stress
- ARRT Certification in Radiologic Technology, Mammography
- BLS certification with in 30 days of hire
Licenses & Certifications
Required- L-UT-Radiologic Tech
- C-ARRT-Mammography
- C-ARC-BLS
