As we expand our Texas portfolio, we are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead complex solar construction efforts from development through commissioning.
Role Overview

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage owner-contractor relationships, drive schedule and budget performance, and serve as the primary point of accountability for project outcomes. This is a remote position; however, you must operate on Central Time and be available for on-site travel to Texas project sites as required.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage owner-contractor relationships, drive schedule and budget performance, and serve as the primary point of accountability for project outcomes. This is a remote position; however, you must operate on Central Time and be available for on-site travel to Texas project sites as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full project lifecycle management for industrial and commercial solar projects, including planning, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
- Serve as the primary client liaison, providing regular status updates and managing expectations.
- Coordinate with EPC teams, subcontractors, utilities, and permitting agencies.
- Identify and resolve issues proactively to minimize scope, schedule, and cost impacts.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, local regulations, and project specifications.
- Track and report KPIs, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and contract milestones.
- Travel to Texas project sites for site visits, inspections, and milestone reviews as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of project management experience in industrial or commercial-scale solar energy (utility-scale experience a plus).
- Demonstrated track record managing solar construction projects from NTP through COD.
- Deep familiarity with Texas energy market, ERCOT, and Texas permitting processes preferred.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera P6).
- Strong command of contract management, change order processes, and construction law basics.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
- Must be available and responsive during Central Time business hours.
- Ability to travel to Texas project sites (estimated 20–30% travel).
- PMP certification or equivalent.
- Experience managing owner’s representative or PMO functions.
- Familiarity with BESS (battery energy storage) integration on solar projects.
- Experience with Texas land, environmental, and interconnection agreements.
- Base salary: $110,000 – $140,000, commensurate with experience.
