Pay: $37,000–$80,000 annually (commission)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | Occasional Saturday availability during peak season

Mountain Vista Window Washing started in 2017 out of the back of a Subaru wagon. Our founder Rowen Todd was 16 years old, couldn’t get hired anywhere, so he built his own company. The Role

We’re looking for someone who can walk up to a front door, shake a hand, and earn trust — not with a script, but with genuine care for the homeowner’s property. You’ll be our dedicated Sales Representative, responsible for meeting with prospective clients, conducting on-site property assessments, building custom estimates, and closing work for our service crews.

You’ll work closely with Rowen and the operations team. You’ll be outside every day, driving mountain roads, meeting homeowners and property managers, and helping people understand why clean windows and a maintained exterior actually matter. This isn’t cold calling from a cubicle. This is real, relationship-driven sales in one of the most beautiful places in North Carolina.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct on-site property assessments and build detailed, itemized estimates for homeowners and property managers
  • Present service options to clients in a consultative, low-pressure way — educate, don’t push
  • Follow up with leads, pending quotes, and past clients to drive repeat business and referrals
  • Manage your own estimate route and schedule — plan efficient visit days across Watauga, Avery, and Ashe counties
  • Identify upsell opportunities (house wash added to a window clean, gutter cleaning bundled with roof wash) to grow average job value
  • Maintain accurate client records, quote notes, and follow-up schedules in our CRM (Jobber)
  • Represent Mountain Vista at community events, chamber meetings, and local networking opportunities
  • Coordinate with the office team to hand off booked jobs smoothly for scheduling and dispatch
  • Track your own sales metrics and report weekly to ownership on pipeline, close rate, and revenue (Jobber makes reporting easy)

Who You AreMust-Haves

  • Genuine people skills — you’re comfortable knocking on doors, reading a room, and having honest conversations
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
  • Self-motivated and organized — you can plan your own week and hold yourself accountable
  • Comfortable working outside in all seasons — we’re in the mountains, and the weather is part of the job
  • Professional appearance and communication — you represent the most awarded company in the region look the part!
  • Ability to learn our services inside and out: window cleaning, soft washing, pressure washing, roof treatment, gutters, and more
  • Smartphone proficiency for CRM, scheduling, and client communication
  • Personal laptop for responding to emails, writing quotes, ect
  • Basic computer skills with google sweet and navigation.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in home services, construction, landscaping, or any trades-based sales
  • Familiarity with the High Country — Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis, and surrounding communities
  • Experience with Jobber, Housecall Pro, or similar service management software
  • Knowledge of the vacation rental and second-home market
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
