What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist position at Mountain View Veterinary Clinic?
Busy locally owned 3 doctor, small animal practice in beautiful Hayden, Idaho is seeking a full-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team.
Experience in a veterinary hospital is preferred. The ideal candidate will be able to provide friendly, efficient service to clients in-person, as well as on the phone. Ideal candidate is friendly, professional, able to multitask, and able to maintain composure in high stress events.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Answering and managing high-volume phone calls
- Scheduling appointments and managing provider calendars
- Patient check in and check out
- Collecting and processing patient payments
- Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming front reception area
- Scanning, filing, and maintaining patient documentation
- Supporting the provider and clinic operations as needed
Energetic, upbeat and compassionate attitude is a must!
