Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Window Installer based in Grand Junction, CO. As a Window Installer, you will be responsible for the measuring, installation, and replacement of various types of windows and doors. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting work orders and blueprints, preparing and assembling materials, ensuring proper installations, and maintaining professional communication with clients. Attention to detail, quality craftsmanship, and adherence to safety standards are essential to the position.
Qualifications
- Experience with window and door installation, knowledge of tools, and proficiency in handling construction materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot installation challenges
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to ensure a positive client experience
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and perform installation tasks that may require standing, climbing, or kneeling for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Previous experience in construction or carpentry is preferred
- Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a neat and clean worksite
