What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chiropractor Assistant position at Mountain View Pain Center?
Position Summary:
Chiropractic Assistants are responsible for rooming patients, providing reports of patients’ primary complaints to the provider, obtaining vital signs, & noting pain levels. CAs also set patients up on therapy machines, assist the doctor with various clerical tasks, educate patients on treatment plans and medical equipment used for them and provide overall excellent customer service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Learn basic Front Desk duties such as checking patients in, scheduling patient appointments, checking patient’s appointment history for other appointments
- Assist provider with various clerical tasks
- Educate patients on treatment plans and use of medical equipment
- Notate and accurately report patient’s pain levels
- Provide excellent customer service
- Set patients on therapy machines according to provider’s treatment plan
- Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment

Minimum Experience & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in pain management, chiropractic, exercise physiology, athletic training, medical assisting, or kinesiology a plus
- Certified MA a plus
