Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Violin Teacher located in Front Royal, VA. The violin teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons tailored to students' skill levels and learning needs. Daily tasks include preparing lesson plans, teaching students through one-on-one or group sessions, providing guidance and feedback, and assessing students' progress. The teacher will also communicate with students and parents regarding goals, expectations, and achievements.
Qualifications
- Proficient Communication and Teaching skills
- Strong musical background and proficiency in playing the violin
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for teaching music
- Bachelor’s degree in Music, Education, or a related field preferred
- 1-2 years teaching experience preferred
- Flexibility in working hours to accommodate students’ schedules
Salary
As an independent contractor, you will set your own rates. Current market rates are between $35-70/hour depending on qualifications and experience. You will also set your own policies within the guidelines set forth by Mountain View Music.
