Overview
Mountain View Monstessori is seeking a dedicated, student-centered Title I Math Intervention Teacher to support our mission of helping all learners achieve academic success. The ideal candidate is passionate about closing achievement gaps, providing targeted instruction, and collaborating with teachers and families to support student growth. This role focuses on delivering small-group math intervention aligned with Title I goals and state standards.
Duties
- Provide targeted, evidence-based math intervention to students in small-group and one-on-one settings.
- Use assessment data (screeners, progress monitoring, benchmark assessments) to identify students in need of support and guide instructional planning.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, instructional coaches, and administrators to design intervention schedules and align instruction with core curriculum.
- Track student progress through ongoing data collection and maintain accurate documentation per Title I requirements.
- Develop and implement differentiated lessons using research-based strategies that meet diverse student needs.
- Participate in Title I family engagement activities and communicate regularly with families regarding student progress.
- Attend professional development related to mathematics instruction, intervention strategies, and Title I compliance.
- Support a positive, inclusive school culture that encourages student confidence and academic perseverance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- Valid state teaching license (K–6 or relevant endorsement)
- Understanding of Title I guidelines and compliance
Preferred:
- Experience providing math intervention or teaching elementary mathematics
- Knowledge of research-based instructional strategies for numeracy development
- Familiarity with progress monitoring tools and MTSS/RTI frameworks
- Strong communication, collaboration, and data-analysis skills
Pay: From $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 29 per week
