Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of landscape construction projects, including site preparation, planting, irrigation installation, and hardscape work.
- Lead and manage crews by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, providing guidance, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Maintain quality standards by inspecting work regularly and providing constructive feedback to team members.
- Manage project timelines and resources efficiently to meet deadlines while adhering to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met or exceeded.
- Supervise daily construction operations
- Lead crews of 2–8 employees
- Read plans, layouts, and project specifications
- Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials
- Install:
- Retaining walls
- Paver patios and walkways
- Concrete sidewalks and pads
- Drainage systems
- Plantings and grading
- Site amenities
- Operate heavy equipment including:
- Excavators
- Skid Steers
- Wheel Loaders
- Compactors
- Maintain project schedules
- Ensure quality control and customer satisfaction
- Complete daily job reports and communicate with Operations
- Train and mentor crew members
- Maintain safe job sites and OSHA compliance
- Participate in winter snow and ice management operations
Qualifications
- 5 years landscape or site construction experience
- Previous foreman or crew leadership experience
- Valid Driver's License (CDL preferred)
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and site plans
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and work outdoors year-round
