The primary responsibility of a lot porter is managing vehicle movement within our dealership and lot. You will prepare new cars, detail vehicles as needed and keep the lot organized. You will warmly welcome and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner as needed.

This is a full time position that will require Saturday availability.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and courteously retrieve, park, and deliver customer or dealership vehicles
• Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers, answering questions, and directing them to appropriate staff members
• Keep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles
• Make key tags for and handle inventory of vehicles
• Prepare new vehicles for show
• Detail vehicles when needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma equivalent
• Valid driver’s license, satisfactory background check results, and clean driving record
• Ability to follow instructions
• Professional attitude and the ability to deliver best-in-class service
• Reliable transportation to and from work every single day
• Time management skills to handle multiple tasks and maintain a smooth workflow
• Capability to perform physical demand tasks such as walking, lifting, driving, and standing for duration of shift
• Ability to safely operate vehicles
• Capability to accept responsibility for important customer and dealership property
