Mountain View Hospital is looking for a MA/CMA Prior Authorization Specialist to join our team!
JOB SUMMARY: Mainly responsible for managing clinical prior authorization processes from start to finish. This role ensures timely verification of insurance eligibility, submission of accurate prior authorization requests, completion of appeals when necessary and ongoing communication with providers, pharmacies, insurance companies and patients to minimize delays in treatment. Works well under pressure and prioritize.

Qualifications
Education/Certification: Certification as a Medical Assistant if applicable. High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: CMA course preferred
