Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO)

Overview

Mountain View Hospital is seeking a Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join our growing team and make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our community. In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary care services, with a focus on preventive medicine, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term health management for patients of all ages. Duties

• Provide comprehensive primary care services for patients of all ages
• Perform routine physical examinations and annual wellness visits
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and chronic conditions
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, laboratory work, and imaging studies
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress
• Educate patients regarding preventive care, wellness, and disease management
• Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and other healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within the EMR system
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and organizational goals
• Comply with all federal, state, and hospital regulations and standards
• Support patient satisfaction and population health initiatives

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Current unrestricted medical license (or ability to obtain) in the State of [State]
• DEA registration (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Current BLS certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care

Preferred

• 1 years of Family Medicine experience (new graduates encouraged to apply)
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR)
• Interest in population health, wellness, and preventive medicine
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

Pay: From $225,000.00 per year
