Mountain View Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our fast-paced, high-volume Finance Team. We support multiple companies within our organization, ensuring all daily deposits, and vendor invoices are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with established policies. JOB SUMMARY: Assists with general accounting duties for the facility. Assist in sorting and opening the daily mail. Review and reconcile monthly vendor statements. Process full-cycle Accounts Payable invoices. Work both independently & as part of a supportive team.
DUTIES:
· Assist in sorting and opening the daily incoming mail
· Review and reconcile monthly vendor statements
· Review, code, and enter invoices according to our internal GL account structure
· Verify proper taxation, approval routing, and supporting documentation
· Ensure timely payment of all invoices while meeting strict weekly, monthly, and annual deadlines
· Assist with reconciliations and month-end close processes as needed
· Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow and support cross-functional needs

Qualifications:Education/Certification: Associates Degree in a business or related field or one year experience, is preferred but not required.
Experience: One to five years of related experience, preferred.
Equipment/Technology: Experience with various computer software programs, especially Microsoft Office, and must have the ability to learn and operate the hospital accounts payable system. Experience with Oracle Cloud preferred.
Language/Communication: Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and speak English.
Mathematical Skills: Must have basic mathematical skills.
Mental Capabilities: Ability to maintain high level of attention to detail.
Interpersonal: Ability to maintain excellent interpersonal skills and work well in a team environment.
Performance: Ability to work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines.
