What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spanish-Speaking Home Health Aide (HHA) / CNA position at Mountain View Home Healthcare?
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate in-home care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance
- Assist clients with meal preparation and light housekeeping duties as needed
- Provide medication reminders in accordance with the client’s care plan
- Assist with transfers, ambulation, and mobility support while maintaining client safety
- Observe and report changes in the client’s physical, emotional, or mental condition to the nurse registry or designated family member
- Maintain accurate communication with the office regarding schedules, client needs, and care updates
- Ensure client dignity, privacy, confidentiality, and rights are respected at all times
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in home care, nurse registry, assisted living, or healthcare settings preferred
- Experience assisting clients with personal care and daily living activities
- Ability to safely assist with transfers and mobility support
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a client’s home setting
- Understanding of client confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Current certifications/licenses as required by state regulations preferred
