Responsibilities
- Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, workstations, and storage spaces.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as organizing ingredients and supplies to support culinary staff.
- Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all serving ware and utensils are spotless and ready for use.
- Bypass the risk of cross-contamination by following proper food handling procedures during cleaning processes.
- Buss tables promptly during service hours to ensure a clean dining environment for guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to facilitate smooth food service operations and timely meal delivery.
- Follow all safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals, equipment use, and food handling practices.
- Help with general hospitality duties as needed to enhance guest satisfaction and team efficiency.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Familiarity with kitchen cleaning procedures and sanitation standards is advantageous.
- Experience supporting banquet or catering events can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
