As an Oil Technician you will be tasked with changing oil, ensuring proper fluid levels, rotating tires, evaluating battery life, replacing lights and wipers, and more. Help us keep our customers safe on the road by providing trustworthy service to all.

Responsibilities:

•              Service grease fittings, universal joints and steering knuckles, using hand or compressed air powered grease gun

•              Inspect fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housings, and       shackles

•              Check tire pressure, balance, and rotate tires

•              Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants

•              Replace oil and air filters, then drain and refill crankcase with needed amount of oil.

•              Add coolant to radiator

•              Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company's vision, mission, and values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and suppliers

•              Follows company safety protocols to avoid exposure to fumes, filth, and harsh chemicals.

•              Perform a variety of tasks with power tools, machine tools, and conventional hand tools

Qualifications:

•              Ability to stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

•              Mobility to crouch, bend, twist, and work with your hands above your head

•              Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills

•              Personal and professional integrity  

•              Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications

•              Deep understanding of automobiles and the competence to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

•              Previous experience at an automotive dealership is preferred

•              High School Diploma or GED (required)

•              Valid driver’s license, satisfactory background check results and clean driving record
