Requirements / Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent Associate’s degree (A.A., or A.S.) in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field and two years of increasingly responsible experience in educational/institutional or commercial quantity food service operations preferred. Licenses, Certifications, and/or Testing Requirements Food Handlers/Food Manager Certificates Serve Safe Certification Food Safety Manager Valid California driver's license; TB test and fingerprint background clearance

Cafeteria Manager/Cook Under the direction of the Superintendent/Principal, the Cafeteria Manager will manage the District’s Food Service Program. This requires the planning, organizing, food preparation and cooking, serving activities, purchases of food and supplies, maintains records, inventory. Cleaning of equipment and kitchen. He/she shall perform related work tasks as assigned and required.
