Responsibilities
- Perform tree trimming, pruning, and general tree care to promote healthy growth and safety.
- Assist with landscaping projects such as planting, mulching, sod installation, and soil preparation.
- Conduct lawn care activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control.
- Support landscape maintenance routines to ensure grounds are tidy, well-kept, and visually appealing.
- Use GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools to assist with site mapping and landscape planning.
- Rigging heavy materials or equipment as needed for installation or removal tasks while following safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscaping, horticulture, or groundskeeping is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with tree care techniques including trimming and pruning is preferred.
- Hands-on experience operating bucket trucks or similar aerial equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of lawn care practices and landscape maintenance procedures is beneficial.
- Growing experience in horticulture or related fields will support your success in this role.
- Ability to handle rigging tasks safely and efficiently using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to equipment operation and outdoor work environments.
