Overview
Mountain Transit Authority is currently hiring part-time Non-Emergency Medical Drivers & Paratransit Drivers in multiple locations.
- Home Every Night: Enjoy the benefit of returning home daily — no overnights or long-haul travel required.
- Probationary Period: A 90-day probationary period is required
- License Requirement : Class D License required at hire.
- Must be at least 21 years old (per insurance requirements).
- Pre-employment drug screening required.

Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate transit vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of assigned vehicles.
- Assist passengers with boarding, seating, and disembarking, including individuals with disabilities.
- Accurately record routes, schedules, passenger counts, and related reports.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to ensure smooth transit operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class D License (passenger endorsement)
- Safe driving record with no major violations.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- Physically able to assist passengers and perform job duties.
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
License/Certification:
- Class D Driver's License (Required)
