What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Nursing Assistant position at Mountain Top Health Care Consultant?
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED certificate
Current CNA certification in good standing
First Aid & CPR certification, renewed annually
Valid driver's license
Obtain DSP 1 & 2 within 1 year of employment
At least 6 months of experience working in a hospital, skilled nursing, assisted living, or direct support setting with individuals who have memory loss
Complete 8 hours of emergency intervention training within the first 80 hours of employment and annually thereafter
Duties:
Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals in the RHCP
Assist individuals with personal care, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Support individuals with medication reminders under supervision of licensed staff
Monitor and report changes in individuals’ physical, emotional, and behavioral status
Take and document vital signs as directed
Assist with scheduling and attending medical appointments with individuals
Maintain accurate documentation and daily care notes
Support individuals during medical emergencies and end-of-life care until hospice services are available
Assist with maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive environment
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
