Role Description

This is a full-time, remote job for a Heavy Equipment Operator. The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining various heavy machinery and equipment to perform mining, excavation, and land reclamation tasks. Daily responsibilities include equipment operation for material movement, performing necessary maintenance and inspections, ensuring workplace safety, and efficiently contributing to project timelines. Work will take place in active mine and reclamation sites under safety and environmental compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Heavy Equipment Operation, including safely operating excavators and other machinery
• Experience in Equipment Maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of machinery
• Working knowledge and hands-on experience in Excavation techniques
• Familiarity with handling and operating Used Equipment appropriately
• Understanding of safety standards and protocols specific to mining and reclamation operations
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
• Previous experience in mining, construction, or similar industries is preferred
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
• Clean driving record is a must
• Per Diem is offered for out of town travel
• Working in remote areas for a long period of time
