Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
Location: Beckley, WV

No Weekends/On-Call
Join a dynamic state of the art Outpatient Endovascular Lab (OBL) as a Registered Vascular Technologist, where you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing, evaluating and assisting in the treatment of complex arterial and venous diseases.

Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality vascular duplex examinations studies.
- Operate and maintain General Electric ultrasound equipment.
- Collaborate closely with vascular specialist to provide detailed imaging results for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Document findings accurately and timely in-patient records, preparing detailed reports for medical review and IAC accreditation maintenance.
- Assist in peripheral interventional procedures and processes when necessary, supporting the broader scope of endovascular surgical care.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of vascular ultrasound imaging techniques and sonography principles.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Experience and knowledge in operating advanced medical equipment such as intra and extra vascular ultrasound and become facile with PACS systems, and Cath lab inventory.
- Familiarity with peripheral vascular interventions and outpatient endovascular center protocols is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and explaining procedures to patients effectively.
This role is in an Outpatient Endovascular Lab in a teaching environment where your technical expertise directly enhances patient outcomes and standard of care.
