What You’ll Do
- Perform accurate backflow prevention assembly testing in accordance with state and local requirements
- Complete annual inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of backflow prevention assemblies
- Identify failed devices, deficiencies, and necessary repairs
- Accurately complete and submit inspection reports and required documentation
- Communicate professionally with customers while providing excellent service
- Maintain company standards for quality, efficiency, safety, and customer service
- Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, test kits, tools, and equipment
- Keep your work vehicle and equipment clean and organized
- Follow company safety and risk-management procedures
- Represent the company professionally in the field
- Take ownership of your daily schedule and assigned work
What We’re Looking For
Ideal candidates will have:
- 2–3 years of backflow testing experience
- Current backflow testing license/certification
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to take ownership
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
