Looking for a Med Tech - Caregiver to lead floor at night , as a Nursing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or licensed practical nurses. Must have 3 years experience as a Med Tech and Current Idaho Medications Assistance Certification
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs accurately
- Provide patient comfort and support
- Help with medical procedures as instructed by healthcare professionals
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Document patient information and care provided
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
Skills
- Experience in providing care to children or adults
- Strong patient service orientation
- Knowledge of critical care practices
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
- Understanding of hospice care principles
- Basic knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Proficiency in medical-surgical procedures
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Experience working in a medical office setting
- Knowledge of infectious disease prevention and control
