Part to full time driver

Mountain Shuttle is hiring professional drivers for part time to full time during the summer season.

Mountain Shuttle is the premier provider in the Flathead Valley for passenger travel. We maintain a high standard of quality and service through highly efficient and responsive customer first care, utilizing modern equipment. We have built our reputation for reliable on-time every-time, safe, and comfortable transportation by employing high quality drivers, and holding them to exacting standards.

We are currently looking for drivers for early mornings. Mid day hours possible according to your availability .

We can usually work your hours around other jobs and personal / family needs.

Retired people looking for some extra hours have found us to be an excellent choice

Number of hours per week will vary with vary during our summer season. Hours will depend on your availability. flexibility and willingness to work split "shifts"

• Must be at least 25 years old and have a verifiably clean driving record,
• Mountain terrain driving will be regular part of your job with us.
• Must be able to assist in loading of luggage / skis etc..
• Must be able to work reliably without direct supervision and be able to problem solve.
• Excellent communication is a must
• Customer service experience a plus.
• Should be tech savvy.
• Local knowledge is a big plus.

Responsibilities:

• Reliably keep to schedule that can be tight and can change due to flight delays and last minute changes by customers
• Assist passengers with loading and unloading baggage as needed
• Safely and efficiently transporting clients to their destination.

Other compensated duties

• Ensuring that the vehicle is clean, and presentable, before shift and between each pickup.
• Cleaning and simple maintenance of vehicles (filling washer fluid, replacing light bulbs etc.. ) as directed.
• Deliver vehicles for scheduled service as directed

Expectations

• Our drivers are expected to be clean and presentable and to follow our dress policy and appearance standards.
• Maintain clean driving record.
• Follow all traffic laws, drive in a safe, professional manner at all times
• Adhere strictly to all company rules, posted notices, and appointment notes.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license. CDL is a plus but not required
• Clear criminal record.
• Own a smartphone and able to use Apple/Google Maps and other carrier required apps.
• Familiarity with mapping software.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good time management skills
• Ability to work weekends, and on public holidays, as needed .

NOTE: as mentioned above we work around other jobs, but we can not hire any person who also drives for a ride share company or a competitor.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
