Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate with a passion for the outdoors to join our team! The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, and be highly knowledgeable in one or more of the following outdoor activities: (skiing, snowboarding, mountaineering, hiking/trail running, climbing).
Duties:
- Communicate with customers about various types of outdoor gear and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge, staying up-to-date on new products and promotions.
- Operate a cash register and perform cash handling duties.
- Process sales transactions, handle returns and exchanges, and assist with inventory management.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Collaborate with other sales associates and management to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction.
Experience:
- Previous outdoor retail sales experience preferred
- A strong passion for the outdoors (skiing, snowboarding, mountaineering, hiking/trail running, climbing)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Able to provide outstanding customer service
