What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician position at Mountain RV?
Mountain RV is looking to hire a Service Technician.
Schedule is Monday- Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM
This position is a 1099 Position.
Pay is weekly
Candidate:
Candidate needs to be motivated, puntual, and organized.
Able to communicate well with customers, staff and management at all times.
Needs to ask for assistance or clarifiation as needed.
Be ethical, honest and trustworthy.
Able to listen and follow directions.
Be a team player.
Communication:
Communicate with Service Manager, Service Techs, Office Personnel, Vendors and Customers in a polite and respectful manner at all times.
Customer Service:
Assist customers as needed on a daily basis. This may be in person as customers come in looking for parts, or asking questions about parts or services that are offered.
Inventory:
Recieve parts / inventory coming in check it as it comes in as needed.
Work Orders:
Fill out and complete work orders in full.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services.
Diagnose, and repair electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliances as needed.
Keep service manager informed of work progress.
Perform routine maintenance on units as needed.
Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by Service Manager and / or Senior Service Tech.
Maintain a safe and clean work are for customers and coworkers.
Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned in a timely manner.
Essential Job Skills:
RV experience a plus
Valid Drivers License
Clean driving record
Experience with car mechanics, plumbing, or electrical work required
Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending.
Exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment.
Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness.
