Product Design Engineer

Product Design Engineer As the product design engineer, you will be responsible for the design of all new products and design upkeep on all existing products. You will be heavily involved in the product quotation process, as well seeing a product from birth in design to the completion of the build. You must possess the following skills/requirements to succeed in this role: Thorough understanding of engineering theory and design criteria. In-depth understanding of applied math and physics. Develop new cylinder designs by utilizing complex stress calculations to ensure the design meets intended operating parameters and safety factor guidelines. Proficient with computer-aided drafting (CAD) software (SolidWorks). Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail. Superb time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering is preferred. At least three years of related experience desired. Experience collaborating with technical personnel. Experience interfacing with customers. Experience troubleshooting issues and developing solutions.
