We are looking for a team player pharmacy technician who is hard-working, honest, and punctual to join our small team who will support the pharmacy by accurately dispensing medications, managing prescriptions, and providing excellent customer service. Working under direct supervision of a pharmacist, this role involves using pharmacy management software to maintain records and inventory, ensuring efficient pharmacy operations and exceptional patient service.
Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately following prescriptions
- Process prescription requests and maintain documentation
- Interact with customers to assist and provide information
- Prepare medications for dispensing
- Enter data efficiently and accurately into pharmacy systems
- Manage inventory and order supplies using pharmacy software
- Communicate effectively with pharmacists and team members
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
- Experience in medication dispensing and inventory management
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accurate data entry abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Fluency in Spanish
