Job Title: Crew Lead
Job Summary
Mountain Paving LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Crew Lead to oversee daily landscaping operations and lead field crews to successful project completion. The Crew Lead will be responsible for coordinating work activities, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining safety standards, and serving as the primary point of contact between crew members and management. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong landscaping experience and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and motivate landscaping crews on residential and commercial job sites
- Assign daily tasks and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within scope
- Perform and assist with landscaping duties including hardscape, grading, planting, irrigation, and general site maintenance
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and customer expectations
- Enforce safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
- Operate and oversee the use of landscaping equipment and tools
- Communicate job progress, materials needs, and issues to management
- Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to crew members
- Maintain job site cleanliness and professionalism at all times
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in landscaping, paving, or related outdoor construction work
- Prior leadership or crew supervision experience preferred
- Strong work ethic with the ability to lead by example
- Knowledge of landscaping tools, equipment, and materials
- Ability to read job plans and follow project specifications
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (preferred)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Bi-Lingual a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and manual labor
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Compensation & Benefits
