What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist position at Mountain Park Plaza Animal Hospital?
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE PREFFERED
Pay increase with previous experience!
We use AVIMARK for our vet software and COVETRUS as our online pharmacy.
MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK SATURDAYS!
Our hospital is open M-F 8am - 6pm
Saturdays 8am - 1pm.
We are closed on Sundays.
Must be able to arrive no later than 7:45am if you work a morning shift.
Strong preference for candidates within the roswell / marietta / woodstock area.
We are looking for loyalty and dependability.
A brief list of what will be required:
- Comfortable with answering the phones and interacting with clients.
- Ability to take multiple phone calls at one time and delegate tasks accordingly.
- Educating animal owners on home care.
- Proficient with typing and able to understand how Microsoft Word works.
- Cannot be squeamish when it comes to sights and smells - vomit, diarrhea, blood, urine, etc. are all a big part of this job.
- Able to count money and input amounts into a POS system for payment.
- MUST be able to handle stressful and emotional situations.
