What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse, Employee Health position at Mountain Park Health Center?
This position will serve as a human link between the organization and its employees, promoting health resources and vaccination services. The EHRN will perform Employee Health duties in accordance with the Employee Communicable Disease policy. Those duties include education of policies to new and established employees. They will assess, coordinate care, collaborate with outside Employee Health Vendor and follow up with Employees who experience a work-related injury, illness, and exposure until the employee is able to return to work without restrictions. Works under the general direction of the HR Manager, Employee Relations, and Development; and under the clinical direction of Chief Medical Officer and the Director of Clinical Quality.
Essential Functions:
- Monitors the completion of new employee health requirements and employee health records.
- Coordinates annual influenzas vaccinations and tuberculosis testing.
- Collects, analyzes, and reports on employee health information.
- Administers and tracks all employee health vaccinations.
- Assesses, and coordinates care with outside Employee Health Vendor, for employees' work-related injuries, illnesses, or exposures.
- Serves as a point of contact and an advocate for employee health, connecting employees with healthcare services as needed.
- Educates new employees prior to and during the orientation process about the employee’s health.
- Travels to each clinic as required.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid AZ RN license in good standing.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in case management, disease management, and employee health.
