What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Customer Service position at Mountain Mikes Pizza?
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Cross training is a requirement. Must be willing to help when needed in different areas of restaurant including Food Prep & Washing Dishes.
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival at counter
- Answer telephones professionally and kindly.
- Take guest orders via phone or in person
- Upsell items to guests
- Use POS to accurately enter orders
- Get payment and complete transaction
- Assemble items for each ticket and prepare for carryout or delivery
- Ensure all order have appropriate utensils and condiments
- Notify the team of any shortages
- Responsible for cash handling and credit card processing
- Carry out additional duties to prepare food, deal with special guests, maintain cash drawer
- Maintain and stock salad bar, buffet station and drink fountain
- Make sure all front of house areas including counter tops, dining room and restrooms are kept clean
- Must be willing to work weekends/ holidays
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
