Job Summary
Mountain Mike's Pizza (E. Grant, Tucson) is looking for an energetic Restaurant Team Member to join our team! In this role, you'll be at the heart of the customer experience — preparing pizzas and menu items, taking and managing orders, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for every guest. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you'll work both in the kitchen and at the counter, so you'll build a wide range of skills fast: food prep, POS order entry, and customer service. Whether you're more drawn to the kitchen or the front counter, this role is perfect for motivated people who want to be part of a team.
Duties
- Prepare pizzas and other menu items following our recipes and food safety standards
- Operate our POS system (AdoraPOS) to take and process customer orders accurately
- Manage orders from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and guest satisfaction
- Handle cash register operations and cash transactions with precision
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, prep stations, and dough handling
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and counter area, following sanitation and food safety regulations
- Greet guests, take orders, answer questions, and resolve concerns promptly and courteously
- Assist teammates with food prep and counter duties during busy hours (both kitchen and front-of-house)
Experience
- Prior experience in quick-service or fast-food restaurants is preferred, but not required — we train
- Comfortable learning a POS system for order entry
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling knowledge a plus
- Cashiering or cash handling experience is a plus
- Friendly, positive attitude and good communication skills
- Reliable and able to work both kitchen and counter shifts as needed
