- Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and perform basic math calculations for change and totals
- Conduct product demos when applicable to showcase features or promote new items
- Upsell products by suggesting complementary items or special deals to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented
- Follow phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers over the phone
- Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking shelves and participating in regular stock checks
Experience
- Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math is advantageous
